I Started as a Mechanic and then a Driver

Hi, I’m Amrit. I’m the CEO of GetTruckDrivers.com, located in Winnipeg, Canada with my wife, Jenn.

I’ve worked in various areas in the trucking industry, starting as a Truck & Transport Mechanic for some of the top suppliers like Volvo, Western Star Dealerships, and fleets like Bison Transport and Trimac Transportation.

And then I started driving.

After working as a technician, I jumped in a truck and drove throughout Western Canada. I pulled a Super B tanked for a couple of months.

Next, I Transitioned into Being a Transport Driver

From there, I proceeded to work in Trucking Logistics throughout Canada & the US.

I worked for some of the largest grain companies in Canada as a Logistics Planner to secure freight and move grain all across North America through rail and truck.

Now here’s the twist to my story.

When procuring trucking companies, I’d come across the
same problem every time...

“ Amrit... We have trucks, trailers, and all the
equipment ready to go. Finances and everything,
but we just don’t have enough drivers. “
